Over 3,000 years ago, Moses freed the people of Israel from slavery under the Egyptian Pharaoh. Moses lead the Israelites to an area near Mount Sinai. Then, Moses went to the top of Mount Sinai and received the 10 commandments from God. Moses went down to the Israelites and called them to hear the 10 commandments of God that they may learn and observe them. The first commandment is: 1. You shall have no other gods before me. What do you think that means?

The story of Jesus' birth is simply presented to young children. Children will learn about: The angel Gabriel telling Mary she is going to have a baby; why Mary and Joseph needed to return to Bethlehem; the humble birth of Jesus in a stable; the angels who told the shepherds the good news; and, the wise men who followed the star to bring Jesus gifts.
