Biblical Fiction

Journee is no ordinary mouse. She is a princess and daughter of the Great Mouse King, who is incredibly wise and presides over a vast and beautiful kingdom. Princess Journee loves life, but has one nagging question: Who is she? With her adventurous spirit and her father's mighty steed to protect her, she embarks on a quest to find herself. The adventure takes an interesting turn when she befriends a valiant toad and a wise owl who tell her about a mysterious and legendary Pond of Reflection, known to reveal one's true identity. But first they must find it, if indeed it exists.

According to the Holy Bible, Jesus is much more than a man - he is in fact the personification of God and he existed with the Heavenly Father before becoming a man, born of woman by conception of the Holy Spirit. The scriptures also state that the "Godhead" is eternal and consists of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This further reveals the fact that Jesus pre-existed his birth as a human being on earth. He was in-fact "sent" by the Father according to the Holy Bible.

Journee is not only a mouse but a princess who loves adventure, especially when she has them alongside her best friends, Mr. Toad, Mr. Owl, and Mr. Steed. Not long after their very first escapade together, finding the legendary Pond of Reflection, the four companions find themselves in yet another wild exploit that is decidedly dangerous and threatens the entire kingdom. This adventure story is inspired by the Biblical Proverb 30:24-28 (NKJV) and communicates the morals of helping your neighbor, that power can come in small packages, and the effectiveness of working together.

The insurrection having failed, Barabbas and his men find a cave in which to hide out. But Barabbas, unsatisfied, decides to try robbery. He enlists the help of the two beggars, and they set out to rob rich Benjamin. But Timotheus almost turns back, after seeing the Nazarene. Will he go on to aid in this crime? Will it be successful, or will this also result in disaster?

Step back into New Testament times - to Ancient Palestine at the time of Christ and of the historical Roman Empire, and ask: What could a cynical, non-conformist dry-goods salesman, a disgruntled blacksmith, and a musing mendicant all have in common? The answer: Down deep, they all seek something better. But will they find the true fulfillment they are seeking?
