Wonders in Dementialand™ is an imaginative account about dementia written by a painter, who sees life quite differently than most people. It is profoundly intimate and powerfully inventive. Violet is an independent, godly-catholic woman living in Chicago. Suzka, her daughter, is a painter living in a converted warehouse in California. Suzka is the last person one would think to be a caregiver, however, during a family crisis, she is suddenly left in charge of Violet’s welfare.

Spreading awareness of Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia is desperately needed. There are many more people with these diseases than other diseases that get much more money approved for research from the government or from donations.
