Disaster Survival Fiction

Six months have passed since the devastating conclusion of the previous book. Aoife travels alone, seeking shelter. Winter has passed, and summer is on the horizon. But survival is difficult. Especially in an EMP-ravaged world where resources are completely scarce. But everything changes when Aoife stumbles upon a mysterious stranger offering hope in the most unexpected form: a safe haven.

The vicious attack on their wagon train killed almost everyone - except David and his younger sister, whom he calls Queen of Sheba. The two are stranded on the deserted trail and have to live by their wits and whatever supplies they can scavenge. And although David is seriously hurt, he knows that frail Queen of Sheba is counting on him. He can only hope that their parents are somewhere up ahead - if he can find them.

It begins as a school trip to London. But with a sudden tidal surge and a dramatic thunderstorm that hurls rainwater down on the capital, it suddenly becomes something totally different: the site of a major disaster as the Thames Barrier is breached and London is flooded. With streets underwater, communications down, rats pouring up out of the sewers, and thousands of people in a state of panic, survival becomes a very key issue for Ben and his mates.
