Divorce Family

There is a lot of information available to help children and teens work through their parents’ divorce. Unfortunately, that is not the same with adults who suddenly find themselves thrust into a situation of their parents divorcing. People often believe that the emotions surrounding such a pivotal event will not impact older individuals as harshly as a child or teens due to our being grown already. While our emotional intelligence is further developed, a divorce even for an adult child is traumatic, a large change, and often difficult to navigate positively.
