When an EMP decimates the world’s power grid, society falls faster than anyone could have imagined. For Connor Murray, the fall of the old world only means he’ll have to fight to survive into the new one. As violent militant extremists rapidly overwhelm the city, Connor is forced to fight his way out to safety, using the survival skills passed down to him from his father. But while Connor is fighting his way out, little does he know that his father and sister are fighting their way in to come and save him.

The year is 2060, and by executive order, the president has herded 2/3 of the American population to underground bunkers specially built to save America from worldwide destruction. The remaining 1/3 are sacrificed in the practicality needed to construct 50 bunkers. This story begins a century later when rumors evolve about escaping to the outside world. To maintain order within the bunker communities, just the mention of wanting to go outside led to the expression of being careful about what you wish for!

Friends grow distant, making Kade question loyalty, and a resurfaced rebel group wants Kade’s help. But who can he trust?
