Douglas MacArthur is best remembered for his adaptability, a quality which hoisted him to his greatest accomplishments. The North Koreans knew the firing rules that patrols had to follow. They would use them against our forces every opportunity they could.

Many textbooks have been written to teach how to speak foreign languages but textbooks can only take you so far, even with the various media of videos and audio files.
