English Poetry Anthology

Some of these works show Steve's spiritual past, which he's not embarrassed about, as his life's walk brought him to where he's at now. There is little correction to the original content. Looking back, Steve sees how much he's changed since the decade of the most recent writing in this publication and feels okay enough to share his old writings with you. He hopes you can enjoy the vulnerability.

In this short assortment of poetry and prose, I include nine poems, two works of prose, and two Facebook quotes. Everything written here is presented in chronological order from 1992-2013, over the span of more than 20 years of my life. I hope you enjoy, and I thank you for listening!

101 Famous Poems, compiled by Roy J. Cook and first published in 1916, is a collection of one familiar poem each by the best-known poets in the English language, including Alfred Tennyson, William Shakespeare, Robert Frost, Percy Bysshe Shelley, John Milton, Elizabeth Barret Browning, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Robert Louis Stevenson, Walt Whitman, Lord Byron, Emily Dickinson and William Wordsworth. The anthology is indexed by title, author and first line.
