From 1935 to 1939, the Federal Theatre Project staged over a thousand productions in 29 states that were seen by thirty million (or nearly one in four) Americans, two thirds of whom had never seen a play before. At its helm was an unassuming theater professor, Hallie Flanagan. It employed, at its peak, over twelve thousand struggling artists, some of whom, like Orson Welles and Arthur Miller, would soon be famous, but most of whom were just ordinary people eager to work again at their craft. The Playbook takes us through some of its most remarkable productions.

How these people worked together to conceive, finance, write, produce, stage, and present these brilliant shows is detailed here.

Xeal/Alex has once again thwarted the designs of the major workshops and can once again return his attention to the quests that Prince Victor has assigned him. Meanwhile in reality, Abysses End has returned with the next group of their young members and Alex must deal with the issues they cause. All while preparing himself and others to making the push for tier-five and share his, Sam's, and Nicole's news with others.

In 1926, the American version of the film classic Metropolis was cut in half, now for the first time in seventy years you can experience the whole story. A very important book in the development of the audiobook industry. The music and sound effects are piped through differant speakers so the listener gets the surround sound or 3-D effect. The futuristic music alone (and the listener's imagination) tells part of the story without any words describing the action.

Abysses End has left for the time being, but they left behind a parting gift of sorts. Meanwhile in Eternal Dominion the major workshops are stirring up trouble for FAE to waylay their progress. All while Alex/Xeal tries to advance himself and his guild further in both reality and the virtual world once more. Will FAE succeed in fending off the latest moves from the major players, and what other surprises does life have instore for Alex/Xeal.

In reality, Alex welcomes all of his friends back from their month abroad, as they quickly notice the newest additions to his life, as they prepare to truly get used to living in Alex’s new home together. Meanwhile, in Eternal Dominion, the time has finally come for Xeal to meet with the reclusive elven queen to speak about the future relations between men and elves. Will the talks go smoothly, or will Xeal have to deal with a few unwanted wrinkles?

It's time for Alex to officially move into his new home in Colorado, as new associates join him in developing FAE in reality. Meanwhile, in Eternal Dominion, he continues to move forward with his quest to gain the approval of Nium’s nobility in the final year before he is to be wed to Princess Enye.

Xeal must make his final preparations for what is sure to be a unique experience in marrying three princesses from very different backgrounds and families, as there will be no going back once it is done! Especially with three more waiting brides and the fulfillment of their duties as nobles to take care of after the wedding.

Having picked up a trio of young ladies who are in need of an escort back home, Xeal sets off to return them to their tribes in the beast-man lands. If Xeal can manage to strike a few deals with the various tribes along the way, all the better.

While the nobles of Nium have begun to take a vested interest in Alex's/Xeal's progress. Will Alex/Xeal and his friends be able to navigate these diplomatic situations or will they find themselves dancing to the tune of others.

Back in his old life, Jace was a loner. He didn't need friends or community, and judging by his romantic failures, he didn't need a girlfriend either. Or more accurately, any girlfriends he managed to attract quickly found they didn't need him. But now, everything has changed.
