Isadora Moon es especial porque es diferente. Su mamá es un hada, su papá un vampiro y ella tiene un poquito de los dos. Two school friends, Monty and Izzy, leave their old school and join a new school half way through the year. Their parents, like all the parents at the new school, are completely oblivious to the strange goings-on behind the closed doors of the new school. Crazy-named teachers, a headmistress who knows and sees everything, cruel prefects, amazing school lunches, science teachers and magic potions, strangely obedient children and an emu.....what could possibly happen on their first day in this "perfect" new school?

Nadia's school is choosing a new mascot, and her idea is totally going to win! She’s also going to kick butt writing for the school newspaper this term.... Maybe. A couple of weeks in, the newspaper is a big mess. The mascot contest is mayhem, too. (Who knew choosing a costumed character could cause such controversy?) Then Nadia and Titi discover that the hippo amulet holds a second secret, one that’s super powerful - and super scary. Too bad they have no idea how to stop it. But Nadia is on the case!

Eleven-year-old Tom was bit by a vampire, a werewolf, and a zombie right before the first day of middle school. It was a weird and crazy day. And he didn't even get excused from sixth grade! Now he's being hunted down by the werewolf that bit him. Should Tom join a wolf pack? On the one hand, he could give up school and homework forever. (He really doesn't want to do his history report.) Chanuncy and Gina constantly have to whip up their own creations of superheroes with their special pens and drawing tablets that come to life to protect them from their nemesis and ultra-creative, blustering, unruly sibling classmates, along with Derwer and his two sisters, Rayanne and Monica.
