È con vero piacere che ritroviamo la romantica Anna con i vecchi amici ed altri ospiti inaspettati. Ormai Anna ha 16 anni e si appresta a diventar donna. Il romanzo è in perfetta armonia con il precedente, mantenendo invariato lo stile del racconto e dei nuovi e vecchi personaggi che vi ruotano attorno, specialmente negli ultimi capitoli.
