In today’s modern world, every political regime, even the most authoritarian or repressive, describes itself as democracy or a democratic people’s republic. The concept of rule by the people and on behalf of the people has come to be accepted as the norm. Very few would overtly espouse the cause of dictatorship, absolute monarchy, or oligarchy as the most desirable political system upon which to base the government of any country.

Our nation is drifting apart and, as citizens, we are becoming divided, fueled by radicalized politicians and biased media. We, as voters and Americans, must educate ourselves on today’s most pressing issues and arm ourselves with the knowledge of how to select political leaders who can effectively redefine the nation’s agenda and steer our country toward the common good. The Purple Vision dissects the current issues that divide us, including health care, student loans, illegal immigration, climate change, and more.

A Tale of Two Economies details the ongoing battle between the material and the monetary economies. The good news is that the development of modern technology in our material economy has us on the brink of prosperity. The bad news is that a turf war over the money supply in our monetary economy is destroying our prospects for enjoying this success. Thus, we have rampant inflation and a growing gap between the rich and the poor today.
