When you’re widowed, nobody gives you a handbook of what to expect, who to contact, what resources you’ll need, what to look out for. I kept a diary during the 93 days while my husband was dying in 2016. The book is my story of the mistakes I made and, more importantly, what I learned. This is not only vital information for anyone who has lost or is on the verge of losing a spouse (or a parent), but it’s also good information for anyone to have on hand because honestly, we’re all going to be there one day..
