रात के अंधेरे में सहायता तलाशता वो आगंतुक सुनील के फ्लैट में जैसे आसमान से टपका था । सुनील नहीं जानता था कि वो एक अजनबी की सहायता करने के चक्कर में एक ऐसी बड़ी और संगठित संस्था से दुश्मनी मोल ले चुका था जिसके अस्तित्व तक को कोई स्वीकार करने को तैयार नहीं था । संस्था के सदस्य राजनगर के सभ्य समाज के अभिन्न अंग थे और वे सब अब सुनील की जान के पीछे हाथ धो कर पड़े थे !

राम कमलानी खूब रुतबे वाला, समाज के उच्च वर्ग का एक आधारस्तंभ था । अपने इस ऊंचे रुतबे को हासिल करने के लिये उसने क्या अपने कर्मचारी, साथी, परिवार या प्रतिद्वंद्वी हर किसी की पीठ में छुरा भोंका था, हर किसी का गला काटा था । छोटे आदमी की जात से नफरत करना, उनको दुत्कारना, जलील करना वह अपना धर्म समझता था । ऐसे आदमी - जिसने जीवन में सिर्फ दुश्मन ही बनाये थे - की लाश जब उसके घर में पड़ी पायी गई तो किसी को कोई ताज्जुब ना हुआ ।

Ranbir returns to his village where rising hatred waits for him. Caste politics heat up. Dalit Jeevanlal sends Resham to upper caste Ranbir's house to learn how the upper class women please their husbands. Resham Ranbir takes an instant liking of each other.

Ranbir's cousin tries to rape Resham. This heats up the situation so much that the Dalits led by Jeevan and Jhabra surround Ranbir's house, they are vying for blood. The historically suppressed had come to suppress the historical oppressors. Ranbir's grandpa is released out of prison after 20 years.

60 year old Constable Jeevanlal buys 18 year old prisoner Resham in an auction inside the jail and brings her to his village as his wife, the village where she meets Ranbir.

Ranbir decides to cure himself once and for all with death. But whose death? His own or someone else's? Naxal Resham runs away from jungle not wanting to live the destiny of her rebel mother. She has no clue what kind of human animals are waiting for her.

While being taken to the mental asylum, convicted Budhram makes an escape from the clutches of the Police. On the other hand, Ananya is recovering from her fresh wounds when the police inform her about Budh.

Jeevan catches Resham Ranbir redhanded making love. Ranbir hits him and escapes with Resham. But to pollute the situation further, Jhabra murders Jeevan. The entire village is burning now.

Zubin gets arrested for his wife Gia's murder. Ayub interrogates him & digs into his past. Zubin gets bail due to lack of substantial evidence. Meanwhile he finds his brother-in-law Jimmy, hiding inside his house.

Resham comes to know of Jhabra's plan and volunteers to hide Ranbir Safely. Ranbir and Resham sleep together for the first time. They almost get caught. Resham expresses her desire to be his wife. Ranbir can never accept a married Dalit as his wife.

Ayub finds a clue near Raghu's dead body that clearly points towards Jimmy. Zubin meets Jimmy in the jungle and admits that he has killed Gia & Raghu. Zubin kills Jimmy too.

Jimmy calls Zubin for money and claims he knows the murderer. Raghu gets killed. Meera admits to Ayub that earlier she was in a relationship with Zubin but now they are good friends.

Police discover Jimmy's dead body & a weapon. Ayub gets a clue accidently pointing towards Zubin. Rocky's dead body also gets discovered from the creek but Ayub doubts the body's identity. Meera gets kidnapped by the blackmailer.

Taxi driver Jeet Singh is cruising for fare when a man being tailed by a bunch of goons blocks his way. Entrusting him with a briefcase full of secret, classified government documents to be delivered in lieu of a huge sum to a girl in Jogeshwari, he jumps off the moving taxi.
