The American frontier in the 1700s produced some men of utter ruthlessness, and Jim Girty was one of the worst. Her fiancé becomes enraged and when the bible is completed there is an altercation and someone dear to Abby gets critically injured. This love story has a fulfilling and satisfying ending.
