Snow Hunters traces the extraordinary journey of Yohan, who defects from his country at the end of the Korean War, leaving his friends and family behind to seek a new life on the coast of Brazil. Throughout his years there, four people slip in and out of his life: Kiyoshi, the Japanese tailor for whom he works; Peixe, the groundskeeper at the town church; and two vagrant children named Santi and Bia. 『추남, 미녀』는 샤를 페로의 동화 「고수머리 리케」를 현대적으로 재해석한 작품으로, 추하지만 천재인 남자와, 아름답지만 멍청해 보이는(사실은 멍청하지 않다) 여자라는 두 주인공을 등장시키고 있다.

소설은 어느새 변온인간이 되어 있다는 걸 깨닫게 되는 '나(최인경)'의 시점에서 전개된다. 달라진 내가 겪고 마주하는 봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울, 사계절이 담겨 있다. 그리고 내 옆에는 직장 동료 송희진이 있다. 공기를 가르며 달리고, 푸르른 산길을 오르고, 밥을 나누어 먹고, 쉼 없이 메시지를 주고받으며 서로의 체온을 확인했던, 서로를 믿고 의지하고 도와주는 두 여성의 잔잔하고 단란한 연대가 소설에서 그려진다.

『공공연한 고양이』는 이제는 우리에게 친숙하고 소중한 존재가 된 '고양이'에 관한 열 편의 짧은 소설을 모은 작품집이다. 제목 '공공연한 고양이'는 다양한 의미로 해석될 수 있다. 우리의 삶에 없어서는 안 될 '공공연한 존재'가 되었다는 의미로도, 고양이와 인간이 맺고 있는 다양한 관계의 방식들을 '공공연하게' 드러낸다는 의미로도 생각해볼 수 있다.
