My poetry is at times raw, sensuous, and evocative, and guarantees a stirring of all senses. Some poems will melt your heart or arouse you; others will leave you with a myriad of acute emotions. I see us all as clay on a potter's wheel. Life’s trials represent the reshaping of who we are, and that reshaping is never ending. My poetry reflects that truth as an expression of my experiences.

All Adnan dreams of is making it to the Ultimate Table Tennis Championship in Florida, and if he qualifies for the tournament, he knows he will get to spend the Eid holiday with his cousins!

The title of my book is one of the poems entitled Life Is Too Short. I added "to Waste" to give the title a more significant meaning. People are getting killed every day at a very young age and a fair number of people were dying of natural causes, and I am sure they have not accomplished their goals when they were killed. I have many pieces in this book, and I hope each and every piece will be comfort and enjoyment to my listeners. This is my second poetry book.
