On a small planet, an unknown presence was stirring. With no physical body, all of its previous memories messed up and without a clear name, our MC starts his journey. Fused on its soul a strange system that will help him be stronger on this strange unknown new world. To claim back all that has been stripped away, he must first generate a body. For this, the system reveals that it needs to collect sufficient XP points by absorbing forces, death auras, regaining fundamental skills like talking, and weapon wielding to go on dangerous missions. One kill equals one death point.

Vor vier Monaten veränderte sich die Welt. Elektronische Geräte fielen aus und blaue Bildschirme erschienen, die den Menschen Fähigkeiten, Klassen und Skills verliehen - wie in einem Computerspiel. John, den diese Apokalypse im Klondike National Park erwischt, schafft es, sich aus dem Nationalpark herauszukämpfen und Whitehorse zu erreichen.

John wollte lediglich im Kluane National Park am Wochenende ausspannen. Wandern, zelten, ausruhen. Stattdessen endet die Welt in einer Reihe blauer Textfelder. Tiere verändern sich, Monster erscheinen, und er erhält Charakterwerte und irre Fertigkeiten. Jetzt muss er die Apokalypse überleben und in die Zivilisation zurückkehren, ohne dabei durchzudrehen. Das System ist da – und damit auch Aliens, Monster und eine Realität, die sowohl an alte Legenden als auch an Videospiele erinnert.

Die Onlivik-Sporen sind besiegt und der Dungeon wurde gezähmt, aber der Preis dafür war hoch. John und seine Freunde sind von den Verlusten geschockt, aber der Countdown zur vollen Aufnahme ins System läuft weiter. Aufgrund der Drohungen durch ins System integrierte Rassen und neue, stärkere Monster muss John sich etwas einfallen lassen, damit er und die Stadt überleben können.

From winning the festival just to protect Noona from perverts, to facing off with someone’s evil mother. Oh...did we forget to mention the crusader champion’s arrival, the Wind’s arrival, also Dark.
