What would Jesus read? The Book of Tobit was part of the Greek Bible most often quoted by Jesus Christ and the Apostles. Did they make allusions to it? Does it agree with the teachings of the New Testament?

What would Jesus read? Ever heard of the Book of Ahikar? It is an ancient Hebrew legend replete with proverbs, which is explicitly referenced in Tobit, and is also alluded to in Sirach and by Jesus and the Apostles in the New Testament.
