Trauma and Recovery is revered as the seminal text on understanding trauma survivors. Bueno de Mesquita uses game theory and its insights into human behavior to predict and even engineer political, financial, and personal events. The purpose for which I wrote the following poem(s) is because they assisted me in expressing the feelings, thoughts, and emotions which I was having at the time while I walked through a relatively challenging period of my life. I hope to inspire other young Black males to also express their thoughts, talk about their feelings, and to hopefully try to make the world a better place. The American way - independence, entrepreneurialism, liberty - has been under assault for decades.
