Private Eye Thriller

Mac Danger is a 1930s-style private eye in a modern world. He’s a tough-talking, no-nonsense kind of discount detective—solving mysteries to make rent, and sometimes having to restrain himself from getting physical with his clients who have—let’s call them, issues. Danger Is his middle name—and his last name, too. You can look it up on his birth certificate. Mac Danger Danger. Kids made fun of him in school because of it. During every PTO conference, he wanted to punch his parents in the face.

When a young immigrant woman and an exotic dancer are forced to flee men with guns and have no place to hide, Richard Noggin, PI, can't turn his back - even if helping out makes him a target. Richard plans to impress an aspiring politician by taking on a big white-collar case that could take him from the streets to an air-conditioned office. Instead, he's handed a cold case and quickly finds himself sucked into a shadowy world of sex, secrets and murder.

The bodies are piling up around Los Angeles and Matt's on the case. The victims all seem to have one thing in common - Mother Goose. Each victim has a name similar to the name in the nursery rhymes and they are finding their demise much the same as the Mother Goose characters. Can Matt stay ahead of this killer and try to figure out who his next victim will be? He has to work fast.
