The blessed Chapter, revealed in Mecca, has 40 verses. The designation of the Chapter, denoting resurrection, derives from the opening verse. The chapter, as reflected in its title, mainly treats of the Day of Resurrection. It opens with an enumeration of the harsh and frightening incidents to occur at the end of the world and proceeds to make mention of the happy and sad appearances of the good and evil doers.

This audiobook begins with an account of the birth of John and of Jesus, the last representatives of prophecy in the house of Israel. The claim that Jesus is the son of God is firmly denied, as is the assertion of the pagans of Mecca that the angels are God’s daughters. It then mentions the missions of some earlier prophets, showing that only human beings are raised to reform the world. Consisting of 93 verses, this is one of the early Meccan chapters.

Because Israel has contributed so much to all of us, what was once just an Israelite culture has grown to become what is by and large an inherited world culture. As the scriptures promised to Abraham, "I will make your descendants countless as the dust of the earth; if anyone could count the dust upon the ground, then he could count your descendants." I believe that this scripture does hold true.

Surah al-Jinn (Arabic: “The Jinn”) is the 72nd chapter of the Noble Quran with 28 verses. The name as well as the topic of this chapter is jinn.
