So komisch ist selten über den Schulalltag gesprochen worden: Comedian Herr Schröder feiert seine Schüler für ihre sprachliche Kreativität, wenn sie ihn als "Korrekturensohn" oder "Kommaficker" verhöhnen. Beleidigungen auf dem Schulhof findet er völlig in Ordnung - solange sie im dreihebigen Jambus erfolgen. Johannes Schröder war selbst 12 Jahre lang Deutschlehrer, hat seine Schüler mit Gedichtinterpretationen gequält und dabei täglich tapfer die Sinnfrage unterdrückt.

"Around the World in Eighty Days" (French: "Le tour du monde en quatre vingts jours") is a classic adventure novel by the French writer Jules Verne, first published in 1873. In the story, Phileas Fogg of London and his newly employed French valet Passepartout attempt to circumnavigate the world in 80 days on a 320,000 pounds wager (equal to 31,324,289 pounds today) set by his friends at the Reform Club. It is one of Verne's most acclaimed works.

For more than 200 years, Egypt's ancient monuments have fascinated researchers and curiosity seekers worldwide. From small children's mummies to colossal pyramids, every archaeological find has been scrutinised to unravel the mysteries of one of the world's oldest civilisations. Initially, investigations were conducted with digging spoons, brushes, and meticulous archaeological methods. In recent years, advanced scanning and DNA analysis have been employed.

Billed as "the most realistic game ever," Worlds at War was a video game unlike any other - one that promised a virtual reality experience that rivaled operating a giant mecha in combat. The game didn't provide the experience many others had hoped for, though; for a large number of players, the game was "too real to be fun." In May 1942, Admiral Jack Fletcher's Task Force 17 closed in for the war's first major clash with the Japanese Navy. The Neosho, a vitally important tanker, was escorted by a destroyer, the Sims. The ships were attacked by Japanese dive bombers, and when the smoke cleared, the Sims had slipped beneath the waves. Scores of sailors were killed or wounded while hundreds bobbed in shark-infested waters.
