Le monstre de Florence existe vraiment. C'est ainsi qu'on a appelé le ou les auteurs de doubles meurtres qui ont été perpétrés dans la région de la Toscane, en Italie, entre 1974 et 1985, semant l'effroi parmi la population. Chaque fois, un jeune couple est tué alors qu'il fait l'amour dans la nature. Au total, 16 personnes ont été assassinées.
