Through this series of poems, Eunice Olsen, a former Nominated Member of Parliament in Singapore, Miss Universe Singapore 2000, actress, host, and executive producer of WomenTalk, hopes to encourage girls from all over the world to know they can be who they want to be and to never give up, just like these women role models whose stories give us hope and strength. This book is for the boys as well, who will play a really important role and be there to empower these girls, to respect women, and to help bring our world to gender parity.

This is my first collection of poetry. A personal glimpse into my messy, beautiful thoughts.

The former president’s visit to Tulsa woke up a great many Americans from different cultures of the historical ill-fated event that many had never heard of before. One person who did not need educating about the event was Paul S. Hickman. He was taught his Negro history in his all-African school system until 1970 in Oklahoma, and his African teachers made sure that he was aware of his history. In Days Gone By, Paul’s poems provide the listener some words to process in a manner that helps to plow through the daily chores of yesteryear until today.

In this story the child is invited on a journey where honest discourse and communication result in clarity. The child and the main character, Art Fine, get to know each other in the story. The child's observations are voiced and received while Art Fine does the same. "My Name Is Art Fine" begins with a child who is curious about who they are encountering. It becomes clear that the child has questions regarding the information being shared.

In this story the child is invited on a journey where the narrator must find courage to take on a new challenge. The Animal Kingdom characters of Bravery and Bolder are called in to assist and model strength for the child. "The Away Cast” plays on the meanings of the word "cast." It is used as term for the cast of a play and also as a to examine the idea of the fear related to being "cast out." The story unfolds with the narrator auditioning for a play even though it creates some anxiety and discomfort.

In this story the child is invited to experience their mornings in a unique and beautiful way. The optimism that the story presents is practical as well as heart-warming. "The Morning Good" offers a standing invitation to the child. The child will learn that every morning is a fresh new day, with unlimited adventures to embrace. It has a rhythm which encourages the child to look upon each morning as special.

In this story the child is invited on a journey where inner strength reigns supreme and shines through all fear, doubt, and concern. “The There Barely” offers a standing invitation to the child. The hunt is the beginning of an adventure that the child will naturally join in pursuit. The Child will be fascinated with the opportunity to see themselves as the strong, independent and fierce individual that they are. The child will learn that there is always hope, light, and support for them in their own internal Self.

In this story the child is invited on a journey to a magical place. The narrator welcomes the child on a voyage that is complete with the theme of inclusion throughout. It is a place where peace and harmony reign supreme. “The Inclusive All” offers a standing invitation to the child. The child will learn that they can actively engage with literature that is also entertaining. This is story for all times of day because it is characterized by the freedom of joy and happiness.

In this story the child is invited to visit a very popular and in-demand destination. The narrator explains that the not is all it seems because the brochure over-promised and under-delivered. "The K-OH!” offers a standing invitation to the Child. The Child will be included on a journey to this imaginary place that is made real due to a myth. The myth is that using the word "okay" frequently to describe thoughts and feelings is exceedingly appropriate.

In this story the child is invited on a healing journey where their loss is personified as a fictional visitor known as the Loss Total. The narrator models a coping technique as an example for the child dealing with grief of any sort. “The Loss Total” offers a standing invitation to the child. The child will learn that others also experience loss and they can utilize Nature to assist with healing. It allows them to explore their emotions, such as confusion and distress, that grief ushers into to their young worlds.

Twisted Rage is a compilation of thoughts coming from the mind of a man who lives with schizophrenia. It exhibits confusion between good and evil, right and wrong, and all other extremes. The confusion brings the listener down a path of empathy for the writer, sympathy for the writer, hope for the writer, and ultimately love for the writer.

Sing and learn about what it means to love, in both English and Spanish. This audiobook is great even among those without knowledge of the show and is a great way to make learning and singing with your little ones special and unique in not one, but two languages.
