Survival Teens

In this post-apocalyptic world, snow, ice, and death prevail. The remnants of humanity have survived by relearning ancient ways. Some villages cooperate with each other, but there are tribes which have turned to murder and theft to ensure their own success. Three orphaned friends wander alone through this precarious world. Teek, Lance, and Kateesh have all suffered traumatic losses which shattered their faith in their fellow human beings. They are sure that they can count on each other, but that certitude is shaken when violence rages into their lives once again.

A century in the future, the human population on Earth is dwindling. The Trushons have taken over what is left of Earth after an epic battle. The human resistance tries to fight for equality when there is none. Rai is a headstrong teenager trying to become a Guard, the elite security force that protects one of the new founding families of Earth. Humans rarely make it to the Guard, but Rai knows she is qualified. She is paired to train with Marsen, who will one day be a ruler of the Raynol royal family.

Abandoned by the Wagon Train is about a teacher who needs to find a new job because her a schoolhouse is being torn down. Looking in the newspaper to see what might be available - anywhere - she spots an ad for both a schoolteacher in California and a mail order bride wanted by the same store owner who placed the ad. Chancing it, she writes to him and then deciding to risk it all she packs up her things and heads out west on a wagon train.
