John und seine Freunde sind von den Verlusten geschockt, aber der Countdown zur vollen Aufnahme ins System läuft weiter. Aufgrund der Drohungen durch ins System integrierte Rassen und neue, stärkere Monster muss John sich etwas einfallen lassen, damit er und die Stadt überleben können.

Vor vier Monaten veränderte sich die Welt. Elektronische Geräte fielen aus und blaue Bildschirme erschienen, die den Menschen Fähigkeiten, Klassen und Skills verliehen - wie in einem Computerspiel.
