This short book is designed to briefly introduce people to information from Church history and the teaching of the Bible that have been misunderstood, misinterpreted, and misrepresented to show that what most people have been told about the nature and duration of hell is not true. The true teaching of the Bible is that God will one day restore all of his creation to the perfection he initially intended. 

The Monkey and the Fish decodes profound shifts and events taking place in the world today due to globalism, multiculturalism and technology, and introduces an original approach to ministry, church, and leadership known as The Third Culture. The book title refers to an Eastern parable that will challenge you to reexamine fundamental assumptions of the evangelical movement, including erroneous interpretations that have made the church increasingly irrelevant in North America and the global village.

Excessive comparison and competition sap our energy and steal our joy. Our friends become our audience and judges, and our kids become part of our brand. Add social media's constant invitation to post and peruse, and it's no wonder that we're left exhausted, discontented, and lonely. Thankfully there is another way.

Using the Bible as the foundational source and guide, while also bringing contemporary sociological data to the conversation, seven biblical scholars and theologians construct a powerful dialogue about gun violence in America, concluding that guns are incompatible with the God of Christian Scripture.

The Bible teaches us the real story of Christmas. The problem is people have taken this story and added onto it. Cultures have added on to it.
