Lucy remembers everything. She remembers the moment she was born. She remembers how she was born, and she remembers what that makes her. Gabriel has managed to unlock her memories, and now she can’t escape them as they play out inside her eyes. She’s finally getting some answers to the questions that have plagued her life, but will they be what she wanted them to be? Daniel wasn’t always called Daniel. In fact, he didn’t take that name until he made a decision that he knew he would regret for eternity. What forced him to change his name, and what was the choice that led him to it?

Lucy knows there is something wrong with the psychiatric home she’s been taken to. She’s noticed that she seems to be the only patient there. She’s noticed all of the empty rooms and the fact that every door to the outside world is locked. She’s also noticed how strangely her doctor is acting. It’s as if he’s pushing her for information — but information about what? Gabriel knows that all the answers are in Lucy’s head, but she’s refusing to find them for him. He’s trying to keep calm. He’s trying to give her time, so that she can discover her memories on her own. But when she starts to cause trouble, he knows that there’s only one thing he can do. Will Lucy survive Gabriel’s desperate attempt to get the answers?

Lucy has always known that she was different from the other kids in her home. Of course, it doesn't help that she suffers from a recurring nightmare that wakes her up with a scream on her lips and sweat pouring down her back. The nightmare is driving her crazy. She's too scared to sleep, she's too tired to live and she feels as though it's never going to get better...until Daniel shows up, that is.

Sarah has been left with nothing - not even hope. The person she trusted the most has deceived her and now she doesn’t know what to do. All she knows is what she is being forced to do. If she doesn’t get a job quickly then she’s going to lose her place at college. Robert can’t believe he’s messed things up so badly. It isn’t even his own pain that he’s bothered about. It’s the fact that he’s hurt Sarah. He knows that he has to make things right. He knows that he has to prove to her that she’s worth so much more to him than money. So he comes up with a plan....

Sarah has decided that supporting Rob is the right thing to do, even if it puts her in an awkward position. She knows that with the loss of his father, he’s going to need her when he returns home to a place that he hasn’t been in years. She’s worried, though. She’s worried about how his sisters are going to treat her after his father took such a disliking to her and told her she would never be part of the family.

Sarah and Robert got close during their class project, but she hasn’t seen him since. She’s starting to think she’s wasting her time. That is, until she gets a phone call from him saying his father wants to meet her. Robert has never had an easy relationship with his dad, and that isn’t about to change on his father’s deathbed. In his last desperate attempt to control his son, Rob’s father sends Sarah away with the message she will never be welcome in Rob’s life. Will Rob be willing to stand for it, or will he go against his father’s dying wishes so he can be with the girl he loves?

It’s no secret that the happiest and most successful adults all have habits that they incorporate into their lives as a child that allowed them to blossom into the powerful adult they are today. It doesn't matter where you are now or where you used to be; you have the opportunity to empower yourself and become the kid you are meant to be.
