Stop the Violence, Kinda is my memoir or struggles from about 2015 to 2020. Most of it is made up, and all names have been changed to protect my friends and family, just in case. The first part of my book you will listen to is really the most recent time in my life, post-coronavirus 2020. Then, it takes you back in time. You'll come right along with me through a bumpy ride of drug addiction, salesmanship, leadership, and the inside of corporate America.

This book is an autobiography about my son, Kerron Rasheem Hunt. How he was seduced into the Street life and drawn away by his own passions from seeing this street life demonstrated and portrayed before him his whole life. How selling drugs, ditching school, toting pistols, being violent towards others, smoking weed, etc. became his way of life and how he refused to stop.

It took me 37,287 words to describe the impact sexual trauma in the military has had on my life. It has taken me over 30 years to come to terms with my experience where I can now write about it and speak about it. I want to educate people about rape in the military. Perhaps I will be able to help others by sharing my experience. To keep silent just perpetuates the violence and reinforces the culture of rape that has been accepted in the military. My insight in this book will be helpful to both practitioners helping veterans and to other veterans suffering from sexual trauma as well.

Shortly after a dismembered torso was discovered by a pond outside Philadelphia in 1887, investigators homed in on two suspects: Hannah Mary Tabbs, a married, working-class Black woman, and George Wilson, a former neighbor whom Tabbs implicated after her arrest. As details surrounding the shocking case emerged, both the crime and ensuing trial - which spanned several months - were featured in the national press. The trial brought otherwise taboo subjects such as illicit sex, adultery, and domestic violence in the Black community to public attention.
