The gangs of train robbers had attacked the train six times this year and four times that train was carrying a strong box with gold and silver coins. This gang or gangs of robbers weren't going to stop robbing the train until someone ended their criminal activities. Will Cannon left his Mora River Ranch and took the train to Santa Fe.

Will Cannon stops in Raton, New Mexico because the Miner's Union is causing trouble there. Will reunites with Marty and Kate and he flushes out the outlaws that are robbing and killing innocent people from the silver mine and the town of Raton.
