Folge 8: Es ist Burns Night in Edinburgh! Um den berühmten schottischen Dichter zu feiern, veranstaltet Finolas Tanzgruppe eine große Feier, zu der auch einige Wissenschaftler der Universität eingeladen sind. Der ausgelassene Abend erreicht bald seinen Höhepunkt - doch dann verschwindet einer der Teilnehmer spurlos und wird kurz darauf ermordet aufgefunden. Finola gegenüber hatte der junge Wissenschaftler beim Tanzabend noch seine bedeutenden Forschungsergebnisse erwähnt. Wurde er etwa von einem eifersüchtigen Kollegen ermordet? Oder liegt das Motiv in seiner Vergangenheit?
