I didn't expect to be attacked mere weeks into moving, but I was. I was saved and thrown into a world I never thought existed. If that wasn't enough, I nearly shit my pants in a hospital bed (if I was wearing them), because this gruff, asshole vampire, growled at me. Apparently, he's part of the Vampire Summons and doesn't like bystander humans, knowing about their existence. And to top all of this off...I think the bastard is tailing me.

In the spring of 1940, as Britain reeled from defeats on all fronts and America seemed frozen in isolation, one fear united the British and American leaders like no other: The Nazis had stolen a march on the Allies toward building the atomic bomb. Thomas Paine's The Age of Reason; Being an Investigation of True and Fabulous Theology, published in three parts from 1794, was a best seller in America, where it caused a short-lived deistic revival. Promoting a creator-God while advocating reason in the place of revelation, Paine’s controversial pamphlet caused his native British audience, fearing the results of the French Revolution, to receive it with more hostility than their American counterparts.

Christians and other people of good will are longing for a response that can lead the way out of the divisiveness and vitriol of our times. I wrote this book to provide some assistance to listeners to discern a way out of the toxicity in which we live.

The uranium from this mine was used to build the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
