Vid Stalingrad vände dock vinden och nederlaget ändrade krigets dramaturgi. Men historieskrivningen har varit skev både från tyskt och ryskt håll. Med gedigna efterforskningar hjälper Christer Bergström till att ge en mer korrekt bild av vad som faktiskt hände.

La bataille de Stalingrad (août 1942 - février 1943) est le véritable tournant de la seconde guerre mondiale. Cette bataille, perdue par les nazis, est l'un des moments les plus marquants de l'histoire militaire du XXe siècle. Les forces allemandes qui assaillaient la ville furent encerclées et contraintes à la capitulation. Par sa durée, par la dimension symbolique, par la dureté des combats et l'importance des pertes humaines, la bataille de Stalingrad est l'une des plus grandes et des plus meurtrières batailles de tous les temps.

"All the World" (1919) takes place in the aftermath of the Great War.
