In Part 1, I talk generally about compliance and ethics, often through personal and professional stories and metaphors that illustrate important lessons I’ve learned over my 40-year career, from my early days at the Federal Reserve (before compliance was a well-known function) through my years as a chief compliance officer for some of the biggest companies in the world. My goal is to enlighten board members, as well as current, and especially, future compliance and ethics officers.
