تبدأ أحداث القصّة عندما يختار الكاهن الفتاة الجميلة "ماني" لتكون قربانًا للإله مع أنَّ المواصفات لا تنطبق عليها تمامًا فتقرّر الهرب والثورة ويساعدها في ذلك حبيبها "سنحوت" لكنَّ الظروف ربّما ستكون اقوى منهما لذا سنتوقف معهم في النهاية ونفكّر هل في الهروب من كل هذا نجاتهم حقًا؟!.. هل المواجهة حل أمثل؟!.. ماذا سيخسران في الهروب أو يكسبان من المواجهة؟!!
