体験者の竹岡さんは、偶然立ち寄った雑貨店で古い手鏡が目に留まった。
その鏡を手にした日から、化粧やファッションに違和感を感じるようになり、 人付き合いの仕方も変化していく。
周囲の視線が気になり親しい同僚に相談すると、 近頃竹岡さんはイメチェンしていたように見られていたという。自覚がなかった竹岡さんは同僚の誘いのまま ストレス発散で、その日深酒になった。
