彼が言うにはその岸壁は、かつての大戦時多くの人が亡くなった場所だという。
霊感の強いMさんはきっとそれが原因だろうとその日は外出を控え宿泊先だった彼の部屋に寝ていた。
もし夜中に具合が悪化したら隣室に彼が寝ているから 壁を叩いて起こせと言われていたのではじめは安心していたのだが、 夜中パチパチ...と何かが爆ぜるような音と低い怒りに満ちた声に目を覚ます。
