「約束」(31分)
昔から弔事や法事においては決まりごとがあったりするものだ。 その一つに「家から寺や墓地に行くまでは後ろを見てはいけない」という迷信がある。
Sさんは当時高校生。弟と両親とで、近所の菩提寺に盆のお参りに出かけた。
その年も母親に 「お寺に着くまでは後ろを見てはいけません」と言われたのだが、子供たち二人は何故なのか気になる。
改築された寺に着くまでは和気あいあいとしていたのだが、目的の四階にある納骨堂にエレベーターが到着したとき、 振り向いた弟が絶叫を上げた事で空気が一変する。©2019 Wataru Shirotani
