「読まれた心」(25分)
ヒーさんは金縛りによく遭う。思い起こせば最初は小学生の頃のことだ。
学校帰りにちょっと昼寝のつもりで横になったらそのまま寝てしまい、やがて体が重くて目が覚めた。目と頭は動くのに体がピクリとも動かない。
何だろうとみるとなんと胸の上に見知らぬ眼鏡をかけた男が正座していたというのだ。幼いながら生きている人ではないとわかったが不思議と恐怖心は湧かなかった。
そんな風にしてたびたび金縛りの体験を重ねていくのだが、恐怖心を覚えることもあった折、気持ちを強く持っていればそうした存在をはねのけられると実感できたことも手伝い油断が生じていたのかもしれない。
大人になった最近、恐怖しないヒーさんをあざ笑うかのようにそれは横に忍び寄ってきた。©2020 Wataru shirotani
