About this listen
No alien menace is too menacing, no galactic rift too rifty for the multiverse’s most-trusted Interdimensional Insurance Agent in these three brand-new adventures and two classic escapades.
Whether he’s underwriting for an overlord, or wearing a pocket protector in a pocket universe, Tom Stranger has just one policy: providing Quality Customer Service. With his trusty Combat Wombat at his side, and the world’s worst intern in his way, Tom vows to Insure and Protect. And nothing—not an invading skeleton army nor evil dolphin kidnappers nor misplacing his favorite bowtie—will stop him from kicking ass and adjusting claims.

Rather silly and hard to pay attention to.
This is really quite different from what I've come to expect from Larry Correa. It's extremely tongue in cheek humor and is a collection short stories. There is an over arching storyline but over all, it's nothing like Monster Hunter, or the Grim Noire series. found it rather silly and it was hard to pay attention for very long. I like long stories as I drive a lot, and this collection didn't really do it for me.

Had me in the first half, lost me in the last half
I'll keep this short.
First things first, Adam Baldwin's narration is too notch. The early parts were well written, well worded, funny and clever... and then the political rhetoric comes out. I wouldn't even complain if it weren't a blatant mockery of everything Correia doesn't agree with. stick to what you're good at, Larry. Nobody cares about your politics.

Enoyed parts of it
The older books (included in this one), were amazing. Funny, over-the-top plot.
Then in "Doughnut Run" & "Apocalypse Cow", it becomes cringey
The story is good for a laugh and I was enjoying it, but then it turned incredibly political & basically ruined the series
It starts going on ridiculing climate initiatives, and making fun of the Democratic party. It also takes a jab at Trump, but these events add very little to the story. No matter your take on politics, these were done in incredibly poor taste

Excellent, really worth it.
Excellent compilation of the Tom stranger stories. Well worth the time to enjoy. I’m so not being forced to write this with a combat wombat being held to my head.

Smug
So much self congratulatory smugness. Decent concept but the sheer narcissism of the author makes it impossible to enjoy

I regret my purchase
Bought this in the hopes that it's silly tone and off-the-wall universe would be worthwhile. It was not. If the same two or three jokes used ceaselessly for 8+ hours is your cup of tea, look no further.

What a waste of a premise.
Saw this book on sale, bought it thinking it would be a light hearted listen with some laughs. This guy must be a serious culture warrior though instead because instead of writing a hilarious book on a great premise he instead rammed the book full of political attacks. Gender studies, Obama, Biden, Trudeau, global warming, AOC, The Green New Deal. Just some of the things you will randomly find yourself hearing be mocked. Awful. If the author had kept to the comedy it would be a good book I think. Not worth 4$.
