About this listen
This book contains 101 bite-sized horror stories that are intended to scare and unsettle you. These are real peoples' accounts of the creepy and the occult - of their near-misses with madmen and paranormal entities. Each chapter is a short, standalone campfire tale, a retelling of a frightening or gruesome incident that has stuck with the teller, something that gives them pause to this day when they find themselves alone in the dark. These stories have been collected with the knowledge that real life is scarier than fiction.

Great short ghost stories!
It's a shame there aren't more like these. They're great to listen to when you can only listen to shorter stories. There are a handful of stories I wish continued on because I was getting invested. Overall, an awesome short horror audible book series. Well done!

Short and creepy
The stories are about 3 minutes long each so it's a good thing they are numbered and the narrators alternate from male to female voices. I often had to go back thirty seconds because I was still thinking about the previous story and missed the important details at the beginning of the following one. There are some ghost stories but often the creepiness comes from dodging being attacked or abducted. As a female it was even scarier for that reason and because they say the stories happened for real.

Not very scary.
Transition between these very short, not very scary stories with chapter numbers makes it tough to get into the flow.
