A deeper connection to life’s truths
I wasn’t sure what to expect with these death-focused meditations, but I’ve found this to be a deeply transformative journey. The scripts are clear, guiding me gently into areas I’d often avoided, but in a way that feels surprisingly peaceful. Facing mortality with these practices has actually made me more grateful for the little things, and more aware of the present moment. This audiobook is a beautiful companion for anyone seeking a deeper connection to life’s truths.

I’m only 12 mins in but already searching for a different title
Unfortunately the narrator reads this book exactly as written, and has not adapted it for audiobook format. The book is about guided meditations, and unfortunately the text read aloud is a description of guided meditations rather than, -what one might expect- an actual guided meditation.
I settled down to use it to meditate, was told the meditation should take around 30mins, in 4 mins it was over. He races through “stretch and realease each body part, first one leg, then all the other parts of the body” “imagine first water dissolving into the sea, then fire into…air into…then imagine the space where your body was dissolving into all the space in the universe…” no time is given to actually imagine these things, he just races from one description to another.
Unfortunately it was not at all clear from the audio sample that this would be the case. He first offers a lengthy guided visualisation of an apple, then cuts between tidbits from throughout the book with the addition of chimes and bowl sounds, giving the impression that this book would in fact be a guided meditation instead of just a description of one.
I’m disappointed and now looking for another book. Perhaps it gets better but I feel my time has been wasted and will probably not pick up this book again.

Now I don’t waste a second of time anymore
Previously, I was often depressed... I didn’t want to live, there was simply no point...
Thanks to this meditation, I came to life, as if I remembered something important, and now I don’t waste a second of time anymore. Thank you very much for these great audio-guided meditations. T
