What a Great story!!!
Even though I didn’t think I’d be able to tolerate an English accent for 8 (or so!) hours, this story gripped me and had me from the beginning. Dean and Fritz are totally believable and such sweethearts! And, since I’m an avid hockey fan, the added sports overtones was a welcome bonus. The ‘hotness’ scale was off the chart! You won’t regret spending a credit on this one! Snowflake55

A Hockey Player Walks into a Bar

This was my first Lauren Blakely book and I will immediately be going through her catalogue. This story was the feel good love story my heart needed. Being immersed in a world were Fitz and Dean can just love each other without anyone questioning or judging is exactly the world I want to live in.
This entire performance by Shane and Joe was exceptional. They brought these characters to life in such an organic and beautiful way, I was in love by the end of Chapter 1. And the supporting cast just took this beyond any audiobook I've listened to. Is it unreasonable to want a supporting cast for all audiobooks now?
I feel like the title does an excellent job at summarizing the plot...Dean is a pub owner in London, he doesn't do love and doesn't want distractions.
Fitz is a famous hockey player visiting London while his little sister settles into her new art program.
I'm pretty sure their love story was written in the stars, especially when Fitz walks into Dean's pub and they immediately notice each other. The whirlwind romance that takes place is amazing. They both struggle to come to terms with what their feelings truly mean and how they could possibly make a future work together.
Just please listen or read this book. I adored it ❤️

A Great Story and Amazing Cast
From the moment this book started, I was hooked. Shane East and Joe Arden were amazing and the chemistry they showed through this book really helped to tell the story. I laughed, I cried and then laughed some more. This is the first Lauren Blakely book I have read but it certainly won't be my last!

Good Read
This is a fun read, that feels like it flies by. I was sucked into the world of Dean and Fits from the start – that’s how captivating these two characters are. Their flirting and banter are both fun and entertaining. I loved how Blakely gave looks into this couple years after they fell in love, outside of the epilogue and then we get two of those on top.
While this is a full cast production, Shane East and Joe Arden are great as the narrators. This is a duel narration which made it all the better. If you get the chance I highly recommend listening to this book on audio, not only is the book good, but at the end you get bonus bloopers of the narrators. It’ll have you in stitches.

Wow! just wow!
This was one of the best, most passionate love stories ever. You can hear the passion and steam through the narration and I smiled the entire way through the book. Joe and Shane killed it! Honestly probably some of their best work I've listened too. Can't believe this is Lauren's first MM book because it was out of this world. Thoroughly enjoyed it! This is one I could listen to over and over. The narration made this book, it would not have been so intense and all consuming if just read. Audible is the way to go with this one!

Omg!!
Lauren Blakely is a smart individual. The way how she was able to integrate different mannerisms as well as various pop culture themes into the story without it being cheesy but relatable was so amazing. The romance between the characters you could feel the emotion through your headphones. Joe and Shane were perfect choices. I fully enjoy this book and if you’re thinking about getting it, just get it!!!

Good story
First time listening to a Lauren Blakely novel and I loved it. The love story between Fitz and Dean is really beautiful. The voices of Shane East and Joe Arden are just perfect. The fact that there are several narrators adds to the story. I recommend you 🙂
