Base series build up well worth the wait

The story has a lot of hiden subtleties that need to be noted as you listen. Great story telling and the build up is worth the wait. if you like Sci-Fi combat with great believable characters this is the series for you.

Good book, bad narrator

I didn't like the narrators pronunciation of some alien species. His voice is so monotone, that it could put me to sleep. If you're gonna read this book, read it on Apple Books.

Not my cup of tea

I was recommended this by a friend and didn’t read the reviews before listening. If I had realized that this was US Army military fiction, I would not have purchased it, because it’s one of my less liked genres.
I listened to about half way through. The writing was ok and the performer did a great job. If you like this kind of thing you should give it a try.
