About this listen

Never sell your soul to the Demon King....

Too late.

In an effort to save all that I love, I have to finish the job that Nyfain started....And ruin myself.

I've made a trade with the most cunning creature alive. Me for them. The dungeons will be my new home.

Dolion's destruction will be my new goal.

I just have to get out of here, and back to my golden dragon. Preferably alive.

Do not read the "A cliff hanger" comment!

Trust me.. I'm sparing you from annoyance. This book was really good though! We finally get to see different P.O.Vs. The narration was amazing as usual, was worried the the male narrator wouldn't live up to Tillie Hooper's awesome reading but he wasn't too bad, a bit mechanical but he was still able to get a but of Hadriel's sassiness across.

Brilliant characters and delightful story

I absolutely loved this book as we get much more of the story from the “mediocre butler’s” perspective. Which is brilliantly performed.

Overall the story is funny, the characters sassy and interesting the plots definitely thicken. The internal dialogs are genius. It’s a very fresh take on an old tale.

Well performed throughout.

Sassy, sexy, funny story

This book isn’t going to be a classic but I totally enjoyed it. It was funny. And also somewhat smutty. Just pure escapism. This was my favourite book in the series. Excellent narration as well.
If you don’t like descriptive sex scenes, then this book isn’t for you.

A Cliff hanger

I can't believe it ended on a cliff hanger. Why did the Queen hide, what was the bargain she struck with the old king or demon king.

This gets DELICIOUSLY darker!

The third book in the Deliciously Dark Fairytales series is gets DARKER and still that delicious level of spice. Pick this series up if you enjoy dark fantasy, shapeshifters, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, touch her and die, dragons and sassy characters!

I really enjoyed the role reversal we get in this book, as Finley has sold her soul to the Demon King to save her kingdom and Nyfain, and now she is the one who is ruined. I thought the setting of the book, primarily in Dolion’s dungeon, allowed the plot to progress and introduced us to a bunch of new (but known) characters. I enjoyed the banter, as well as the secrets and knowledge we learn during Finley’s time there.

I absolutely love how Hadriel and Leala are involved in this book, they are awesome secondary characters and so excited that we got their POV in this book. Tillie and Tyler do a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life and illustrating the emotions, struggles, devotion, and spiciness of this story.

There was a cliffhanger ending, that like the other books in this series, made me want to immediately pick up the next book.
