Enjoyed it
Highly recommend due to the narration alone. Plot is well paced and has depth - not just a cliche romance story with a damsel and a brooding elite. FMC is hilarious and a badass. Intriguing plot and great characters. Have not read the next book yet but definitely plan to!

Worth the Listen
I love the base plot points of the story and most of the characters are growing on me; however, I found the romance element a bit frustrating. I wasn’t as invested in the pairing as a couple as I would have liked to have been. I would still 100% recommend the author and series as a good starting point and will definitely be reading future books.

Holy smokes
The plot was fantastic! But the narration really displeased me, I had to remind myself that there are other ways a character could have said that line not just the way she said it. The tone was off for her male narration.
Other then that I was on the edge of my seat.

mixed feelings
Not much of a plot. just a lot of romance/story building. At times it was eye rolling and cringy.
will continue reading as the base line for the story is interesting.
Here's hoping book 2 will pick up with the action.
The narrator wasn't bad but found she made the male lead sound angry and possessive when he shouldn't have.
