Some real sh*t
It took me a couple chapters to like the story enough to ignore the ancient sounding narration but I wanted to read this book for so long that it was worth it.
Intense book. I learned so much. This may become a yearly listen for me.

Fantastic book but a not so great reading of it
I loved the story of A Severe Mercy but I was a lot less impressed by the way it was delivered. For a passionate and heartwarming story, the performance felt tired and, frankly, a bit dull. That doesn’t take away from the fact that Sheldon Vanauken’s book is amazing and is definitely worth the read!

Excellent read
What a moving christian book on love and relationship. The narrators voice seemed to be set back to the time of the book which I found to be very compelling and interesting. This narration makes me want to run out and buy a original signed copy from the author to have in the library for evermore.
