What harm can one small lie do?

Forced to give up her career as a dentist, and still unemployed a year later, Valentina Knight has finally run out of options. Story was okay, but the narration was distracting. She pronounces “every” like “ev-er-y” and “suggested” like “sugg-gested” and these words come up A LOT. It drove me absolutely nuts. I listened for free, and it was okay. I would have returned it halfway through if I paid for it, after listening to that narration.
