About this listen

Follow an unfortunate soul who has been thrown into a fantasy world with nothing. He is quickly railroaded into joining the Legion and has to develop under harsh conditions while slowly discovering his potential power.

This story has light LitRPG elements with a stat and magic advancement system. The MC is not overpowered and experiences the pain of growth as he tries to find a place in the strange new world while staying alive. Neither are coming easy to him as his Legion Company is constantly in harm's way.

I really like the story telling I'm this book

I like how personable most of the characters are you almost feel close to some of them

Pretty solid book.

Very interesting world and pretty good characterization overall. The story is a very slow-burn.

I feel like the story would have been just as good or better without Isekai at all, since it's barely touched upon after the fact.

Narrator isn't great. He has a lot of weird inflections and puts emphasis on weird words, that ends up making the narration sound very robotic and unnatural. Voices for certain characters also seemingly changes at times, making it a bit jarring.

Overall it's a solid story, and a definite recommendation so long as you aren't overly bothered by middling narration.

Quite enjoyable

I liked the your following a soldier type of character/story. was written really well with a couple twists and was just overall fun to listen to a couple things didn’t make tons of sense and the main guy is kind of overpowered in a sense
